WHO WE ARE:

The Rosamond Connunity Services District Foundation, a 501 ( c ) (3) organization, was formed to provide financial support for the RCSD's current services to Rosamond citizens for the purpose of pursuing, receiving and distributing funds for various District projects in the areas of park maintenance, development and enhancement; recreation programs; water conservation;and water treatment.

 

It is planned to partner with local organizations and to be a resource to those in the community that want to make a difference. Through grant opportunities, donations, sponsors and fundraising events we will have safe and secure parks, new park areas, create programs for everyone, conserve our precious water commodity and provide the best water in the area.

OUR NEED

 

In July of 2007, the Foundation was formed to provide financial support for the District's current services to Rosamond citizens for the purpose of pursuing, receiving and distributing funds for various District projects in the areas of: park maintenance, development and enhancement; recreation programs; water conservation; and water treatment.

MISSION

Provide financial support to turn dreams and ideas into reality.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES:

 

Recruit additional Board of Director members.

 

Pursue donations and sponsorships to establish priorities for grant funds to make a positive difference in Rosamond's quality of life.

 

Establish contribution packages, i.e. brick, signage, pledges, etc.

 

To develop and maintain a strong supporter base with different levels of sponsorship.

 

Recruit two members of the board that will be active (attendance) and committed in the development of policy and major decision-making at board and committee meetings.

 

Establish Fundraising that will assist in fundraising activities and Public

 

Relations committees that will represent the

 

Foundation in the broader community (outreach).

 

Have one major fundraising activity during the year.

 

About Us

Welcome to the Rosamond Foundation!

 

We are the Premium Foundation serving the Rosamond Community. Our mission is to help families in need and to partner with local organizations as a resource for those striving to build and become pillars in our community.

 

Those in Rosamond area already know that there aren't many options for our youth, adults, and senior citizens to partake. Through grant opportunities, donations, sponsors, and fundrasing events we plan to provide facilities, activities, and programs that will meet the needs and create opportunities to help enrich the lives of the residents in our community.

Comment From 2009 Rosamond Foundation's President, Bryon Glennan:

"Right now the only way to improve our parks is through monies given to the non profit RCSD Foundation. We are working on grants, some of them matching grants, but our goal is to improve the parks even though we don't have any assessments in the community right now to bring in income."
